Coconut Products from Our Farm in Calauan, Laguna
At Hannah's Farm in Calauan, Laguna, coconuts grow the way they always have — quietly, slowly, and without shortcuts. From a single harvest we make a full range of coconut products: fresh buko, virgin coconut oil, coconut sugar, flour, vinegar, and more. Everything is made in small batches on the farm by our family, so nothing goes to waste and nothing is rushed.
The Tree of Life
Filipinos have long called the coconut the puno ng buhay — the tree of life — because almost every part of the tree has a use. The water refreshes, the meat nourishes, the husk becomes rope and fuel, the shell becomes charcoal and craft, and the sap ferments into vinegar or concentrates into sugar. At Hannah's Farm we take that tradition seriously. We built our whole-coconut approach around the idea that a tree this generous deserves a farmer who pays attention.
Naturally Grown in Calauan, Laguna
Our grove sits near Bahay na Bato in Calauan, in the foothills of Laguna where the air is cooler and the soil runs deep. The coconuts here are not forced or chemically pushed — they grow on their own schedule alongside our avocado, banana, jackfruit, mango, and cultivated agarwood. That biodiversity matters: it keeps the soil alive and the grove balanced. When you taste our coconut water straight from a young buko or press a spoonful of our oil, you are tasting a place as much as a product.
Nothing Wasted — Our Whole-Coconut Range
We follow the coconut from sap to shell, and every stage yields something worth keeping. A few highlights from what we make on the farm:
- Fresh young coconut (buko) — chilled and ready to drink, the way it should be.
- Virgin coconut oil (VCO) — cold-processed in small batches to preserve the natural flavour and aroma of fresh coconut.
- Coconut sugar — slowly reduced from fresh coconut sap; deep, caramel notes with no artificial additives.
- Coconut sap syrup — the lighter, pourable sibling of coconut sugar; lovely drizzled over pancakes or yoghurt.
- Coconut vinegar (sukang tuba) — naturally fermented from coconut sap, with a gentle sourness that sets it apart from cane vinegar.
- Coconut flour and desiccated coconut — milled and dried from the spent meat after pressing, so not a single gram goes to waste.
- Nata de coco and toasted coconut chips — made for snacking, baking, or adding texture to a dessert spread.
- Coconut-oil soap — handmade on the farm using our own VCO; a simple bar with nothing unnecessary in it.

A Family Farm
Hannah's Farm is run by Hannah Abelardo together with her parents, Imelda and Manny. We are one family on one piece of land, and that means every product carries a level of personal responsibility you simply cannot get from a factory floor. We are also building a small events and learning space on the farm — a place where guests can see how coconut sugar is made, walk the grove, and understand what it actually means to grow food this way. Follow along as that project takes shape.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where are your coconuts grown?
All our coconuts come from our own grove in Calauan, Laguna, near Bahay na Bato. We do not source from other farms. Every product you buy traces back to this one piece of land.
Are your coconuts naturally grown?
Yes. We grow without synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilisers. Our coconuts share the grove with avocado, banana, jackfruit, and other trees, which helps keep the ecosystem balanced naturally. We are a small family operation, not a certified-organic label, but we farm the way we would want our own food farmed.
Do you deliver or sell wholesale?
We deliver within Laguna and to Metro Manila for qualifying orders. For wholesale enquiries — restaurants, health shops, or regular bulk buyers — please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate you.
